The 40 Channel is an Australian based YouTube. It was instigated to allow the sharing and rebuilding of Toyota 40 series Land Cruisers. The first posting was May 2018.
Jayson first started posting his videos for two reasons.
1/ There was very little information about repairing 40 series Land Cruisers on YouTube. Jayson used this media platform in the complete rebuild of his own FJ40.
2/ Jayson’s occupation as a Fitter and Machinist is instrumental in him being able to share tips and tricks of his trade. It is Jayson’s passion for the 40 series Land Cruiser that he in turn wishes to pass on to others.
The 40 Channel builds are very much a family affair, the whole family being involved, on and off camera. Within the family circle including the support of Jayons's wife and children, but it is Jayson’s son Jack, who is the most involved with the build and most often on the channel.
Jayson has been very humbled by the support he has had throughout the growth of the YouTube and Instagram pages. At the end of almost every video is the Christian fish symbol, which shows his thanks to his Lord and saviour.
