Toyota TEQ Rising Sun Japanese Imperial Flag Navy Style Tshirt. This 100% cotton is heavy duty to last like a Toyota, or perhaps a dug in Imperial fighter. It's not oversized, but don't expect a tight euro fit, it's a 'classic fit' so you won't likely need to upsize. The TEQ logo emblazons the design in a matching fully saturated red, allowing a bold print on the shirt. This Navy style flag is offset to center, and smaller in size to our other Rising Sun shirt and decal. Also available on other styles - long sleeves, hoodies, etc. Just ask and we will oblige. Some information on the design: The Rising Sun Flag (旭日旗 Kyokujitsu-ki) was originally used by feudal warlords in Japan during the Edo period (1603–1868 CE). On May 15, 1870, as a policy of the Meiji government, it was adopted as the war flag of the Imperial Japanese Army, and on October 7, 1889, it was adopted as the naval ensign of the Imperial Japanese Navy. It is still used in Japan as a symbol of tradition and good fortune, and is incorporated into commercial products and advertisements. The flag is currently flown by the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force and a modified version is flown by the Japan Self-Defense Forces and the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force. : Classic fit .: 100% Cotton (fibre content may vary for different colors) 5.3 oz/yd² .: Tear away label .: Runs true to size - no need to upsize.
